Suneel Chilukuri, MD, discusses original research published in the June 2026 issue of JCAD. This study involved 31 patients who were administered a combination treatment that included a microneedling and pigment-correcting chemical peel. The results showed the chemical peel with microneedling was more effective in reducing erythema and improving skin brightness compared to microneedling alone. By the third treatment session, both methods showed similar improvements.
